How can I put my company logo on handheld receipts?

Using Graphic Images on your Receipt
- You may print a bitmap image on the receipt by using the IF (Image File) identifier at the beginning of a header or trailer line. This special image must first be created and then saved as a MONOCHROME Bitmap (BMP) file. The file can only be black and white. The size of the image must be compatible with the type of printer you have. Refer to the table below.

- NOTE: You must save the file in monochrome bitmap format.
- NOTE: If you want to center your picture on the receipt, then you must center it in your drawing when you create it.
- NOTE: You must save the monochrome BMP file in the RMA, Handhelds, Data folder.

Creating Graphic Images for Your Receipt
In order for the handheld to be able to display a graphic image, you must follow these steps:
- Create your image as specified above.
- Save as a monochrome .BMP file in the RMA, Handheld, Data directory.
- Depending on your version go to the following screen:
- In RM2000, go to Lists, then to Handheld Options.
- In RMA, go to List > Routes > Handheld Class
- Go to the Messages Tab.
- Place an “I” in the Justify Column.
- Enter an “F” in the Font Column.
- Input the name of the graphic file that you wish to use on the receipt (including the file extension of the .BMP file).
- Save changes.
- Download the next route or do a Morning Card.
- Print a sample receipt to see if it is acceptable.
- Repeat the preceding steps until you have the desired results.

A little practice and you should be able to obtain a satisfactory logo or image. A local graphic artist can also provide a logo using the above instructions.
