If your trying to E-mail statements or invoice copies (or any other E-mail feature in RM2000) and you receive a message stating Outlook is not installed, please follow these steps:
- Confirm the employee processing statements has an E-mail address in Employee Setup. (Found under the Lists menu)
- Confirm that Outlook is installed on the computer or is installed on your Terminal Server
*
. E-mail is only compatible with Outlook’s E-mail service. No other E-mail program is compatible (i.e., Outlook Express, Eudora, etc.). - Confirm you can send/receive E-mail from your Outlook session.
- Re-register the ARSMailSecurity.dll file. To learn how to do this, check the knowledge base on registering Dll files.
- Attempt to E-mail from RM2000 again. If it is still stating that Outlook is not installed, you may need to re-install Outlook or call our technical support team.
