If your having a problem uploading an afternoon card, such as “error open truck information file”, there are steps to be taken to correct the problem.
Symptoms:
Error message received.
Cause:
Corrupt or missing files.
Resolution:
Appropriate steps can be taken to check for files that must be present to perform the required operation(s). Try doing this:
- Check the DATA folder on the card, it must contain these files:
- HRPNT.dat
- HBCMF.dat
- TINFO.dat
If these files are NOT there, they must be created.
- First, delete all the files in the data folder.
- If the files are there, you must delete them along with everything else residing in the data folder.
- Create the files by first going to the ms dos prompt, and then going to the data folder on the card.
- Once in the data folder, type “edit” and then save the files as their full name listed above. This will create the files as 0 byte files, which can be uploaded.
