Opening Invoices is very slow – Foxit PDF Reader

Issue: opening invoices and other documents on the screen with Adobe Reader is very slow.  What can we do to speed this up?

Resolution: There are several very good and FREE .pdf readers available.  We recommend that you try FOXIT READER.  It will need to be installed on your server to be most effective.  To obtain the download for this program go to:  http://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/

Follow the installation instructions.  Make sure that you define Foxit as the default .pdf reader!

Once installed, open the program, click on the HELP icon, then click on the .  Answer all questions to the affirmative.  Close the program.

Now you will likely want to uninstall Adobe Reader (if it is installed).  To do this go to  Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features

Right click on the Adobe reader program, click on uninstall.

Foxit will now be your default .pdf reader program. Please open the RMA program and attempt to open an invoice to make sure the program is properly installed.
