have a problem of the Handheld hanging up for a minute or so when I first start it. 
How can I solve this problem?

Symptoms:

After doing a hard reset or starting Route Manager for the first time on a Handheld, it hangs for more than a minute at:

Loading Route Manager 2000. One moment please

Cause:

Generally, this is caused by missing Fonts on the data card.

Resolution:

Follow the steps below to solve the problem.

1. Remove the Card from the Handheld.
2. Insert the card in the card reader.
3. From within Route Manager, go to: Handhelds > PC Cards > Prepare Data Card.
   1. Select the type of device(handheld) accordingly.
   2. After Prepare Data Card completes, continue on to doing a Morning Card.
   3. Handhelds > Morning/Afternoon > Morning Card.
   1. Select your Route/Driver and select a date. Then press OK.
4. After Morning Card has completed, insert the card back into the handheld and start Route Manager.
5. You may be prompted to reset your device to register the fonts.
